I have been involved in the design of several web sites recently. My past experience and training in both software and digital arts have helped me in my current web design work. Perhaps my multi-disciplinary and varied experiences in technologies, student affairs,theatre/facilities assistant and administration may help.

hobbies

I have had numerous hobbies over the years including music, theatre, walking, animal history, architecture, electronics, mechanics of motion, cycling, gardening....list goes on a little! Multi-disciplinary applies to both my work and leisure activities! In fact, when creating my first digital 3D model in Maya, I based it on one of my interests in animal motion!

Most fo my life I have either walked or cycled! This is probably largely because I come from a background where it is very difficult to have liquid assets at most times! During the 90's I used to persue my cycling hobby quite seriously; I frequented cycle shops/sales/meets and built several racers/mountain bikes. I also researched on the materials for frames, frame design, wheel design/construction, brakes etc ...in fact anything and everything for bicycle design for transport, comfort, strength, race, durability and aesthetics! This was not too difficult for me as I was a professional research engineer.

I have also attended numerous leisure courses such as pottery making, video production, motor mechanics, jewellry making, painting/drawing and model making.

Please also feel free to view my creative page here. I have started developing skills in modern digital design, graphics and digital animation since about 2005.My work has been shown at some open days at Tower Hamlets college in Poplar, London.

Other experiences I have also include working part-time as a tutor/mentor for students in a hall of residence in London (for more than six years!) as well as a student ambassador in a college in East London. I also have written meeting reports for colleges, assisted in organising conferences, assisted visitors settle in allocated accomodation, act as a guide and a hand in a theatre.
